THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN  
COLORADO.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
THE NEXT WINTER STORM WILL DROP ACROSS NORTHERN COLORADO AND UTAH,  
BRINGING MUCH COLDER AIR, GUSTY CONDITIONS, AND SNOW FOCUSED OVER  
THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN MOUNTAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT. SNOW AND  
BLOWING SNOW WILL BRING TRAVEL IMPACTS FOR HIGHER ELEVATIONS  
ABOVE 9,000 FEET DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITY AND ICY, SNOW PACKED  
ROAD CONDITIONS. WIND CHILLS WILL ALSO DROP AS LOW AS 20 BELOW  
ZERO ACROSS HIGHER TERRAIN AND EXPOSED PEAKS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY  
 
COLD AIR ADVECTING ACROSS THE REGION WILL DROP HIGH TEMPERATURES  
5 TO 10 DEGREES ON TUESDAY ACROSS EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN  
COLORADO. MOUNTAIN SNOW SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF TUESDAY AFTERNOON  
AS THE SYSTEM EXITS TO OUR EAST AND DRY AIR QUICKLY MOVES IN FROM  
THE WEST. CLEARING SKIES OVERNIGHT WILL ALSO BRING COLD OVERNIGHT  
LOWS TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. HIGH PRESSURE THEN RETURNS BY  
LATE WEEK WITH A WARMING TREND EXPECTED.
