THE CHANCES FOR SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT, MAINLY FOR CENTRAL  
AND EASTERN AREAS, AS A FRONTAL SYSTEM AND UPPER LEVEL  
DISTURBANCE IMPACTS THE REGION. THERE MAY EVEN BE A RUMBLE OF  
THUNDER ACROSS THE TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN  
CONNECTICUT THROUGH MIDNIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO RUN  
ABOVE NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR, WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S TO  
MIDDLE 50S.  
 
UNSETTLED CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW  
WORK WEEK AS THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE REMAINS IN THE VICINITY  
AND A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MAY IMPACT THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT INTO  
MONDAY. THE BEST CHANCES FOR RAIN DURING THIS TIME FRAME WILL BE  
MONDAY MORNING INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE  
TO RUN ABOVE NORMAL FOR SUNDAY, WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S TO AROUND  
70. SLIGHTLY COOLER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR MONDAY.
