DISCUSSION

AS THE MORNING BEGINS, HIGH PRESSURE IS POSITIONED OVER CENTRAL
GEORGIA AND A NEARLY STATIONARY FRONT IS POSITIONED TO THE NORTH
OVER TENNESSEE. DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF THIS BOUNDARY, INCREASING
CLOUD COVER IS ANTICIPATED OVER FAR NORTH GEORGIA, INCLUDING THE
BURN SITE, THIS MORNING. SKIES ARE EXPECTED TO GO FROM PARTLY CLOUDY
TO 6 AM TO MOSTLY CLOUDY/OVERCAST BY 8 AM AND THROUGH MUCH OF THE
DAYTIME TODAY. THE CLOUD COVER WILL SOMEWHAT MITIGATE HIGH
TEMPERATURES, WHICH ARE ONLY EXPECTED TO REACH 88 IN THE MID-
AFTERNOON. CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE TO 20
PERCENT BY NOON AND UP TO 60 PERCENT BY 4 PM. RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL STRUGGLE TO DROP BELOW 70 PERCENT AT ANY POINT TODAY. 20
FT WINDS WILL START THE MORNING FROM S AT 3 MPH, SHIFTING TO SW AT 6-
8 MPH BY 10 AM AND THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. LIKEWISE, TRANSPORT WINDS
WILL BE S AT 5 MPH TO START THE MORNING, SHIFTING TO SW AT 16-18 MPH
AFTER 8 AM. RAIN CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

20 FT WINDS WILL SHIFT TO S AT 8 PM AND GRADUALLY DIMINISH TO 3 MPH
AFTER MIDNIGHT. TRANSPORT WINDS WILL STAY A BIT HIGHER OVERNIGHT,
AND WILL BE S AT 10-13 MPH BEFORE MIDNIGHT, THEN SHIFTING TO SW AND
INCREASING TO 16-21 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT. WEDNESDAY IS EXPECTED TO BE
SLIGHTLY DRIER UNDER PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. RH VALUES WILL BE AROUND
90 PERCENT AT SUNRISE, DROPPING BELOW 70 PERCENT AT NOON AND DOWN TO
A MINIMUM OF 64 PERCENT IN THE MID-AFTERNOON. 20 FT WINDS WILL BE SW
AT 6-8 MPH ONCE AGAIN. TRANSPORT WINDS WILL SHIFT TO W AFTER
SUNRISE, THEN BACK TO SW FOR THE AFTERNOON, AND WILL BE 14-18 MPH
DURING THE DAYTIME WEDNESDAY. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT GUSTY, ERRATIC
WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE BURN SITE
EACH DAY. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER
