..PATCHY BLACK ICE EXPECTED INTO THURSDAY MORNING

AS TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW FREEZING LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS ON THURSDAY, WATER FROM RECENT SNOW MELT MAY
REFREEZE ON AREA ROADWAYS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TREATED. THIS COULD
RESULT IN PATCHES OF BLACK ICE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY. THE
TEMPERATURE SHOULD CLIMB BACK ABOVE FREEZING BY AROUND 9 AM
THROUGHOUT MOST OF THE AREA.

BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY SPOTS ON ROADWAYS EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
SOME ROADS THAT APPEAR CLEAR MAY BE COVERED BY A THIN LAYER OF
ICE. USE CAUTION AND ALLOW EXTRA DRIVING TIME TO REACH YOUR
DESTINATION.
