SUPER TYPHOON SURIGAE (02W) IS CENTERED APPROXIMATELY 515 MILES  
NORTHWEST OF KOROR NEAR 12N129E AND IS MOVING NORTHWEST AT 14 MPH  
WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 180 MPH. HEAVY SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS ARE SEEN NEAR THE CENTER BETWEEN 10N AND 15N FROM 132E  
TO WEST OF 130E. FARTHER AWAY FROM THE CENTER...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS  
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND OUTSIDE OF THE ABOVE  
AREA WITHIN 90 MILES OF A LINE FROM 18N131E TO 13N135E TO 8N134E.  
THIS IS JUST NORTH OF KAYANGEL PALAU AND WELL WEST OF THE MARIANAS.

A WEAK CIRCULATION IS CENTERED NEAR 1N152E AND IS THE SUBJECT OF AN  
INVEST AREA BY THE JOINT TYPHOON WARNING CENTER. TROUGHS EXTEND TO  
THE NORTHWEST FROM THE CENTER TO 11N141E...AND NORTHEAST TO NEAR  
POHNPEI WHICH THEN CONTINUES TO NEAR WAKE ISLAND THEN TO BEYOND 25N  
AT 170E. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS ARE SEEN WITH THE CIRCULATION  
BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 2N FROM 139E TO 148E...BETWEEN THE EQUATOR  
AND 5N FROM 148E TO 153E...AND BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 5N FROM 158E  
TO 163E. ALONG THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE TROUGH EXTENDING TOWARD WAKE  
ISLAND...IT STARTS INTERACTING WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW. INTERACTIONS  
BETWEEN THESE TWO FEATURES ARE GENERATING NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND  
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN 13N AND 25N FROM 163E TO 172E. THIS  
INCLUDES WAKE ISLAND AND THE NORTHERNMOST ATOLLS OF THE REPUBLIC OF  
THE MARSHALL ISLANDS.  
 
A TRADE-WIND TROUGH EAST OF THE MARSHALLS IS TRIGGERING SCATTERED  
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN 6N AND 13N FROM 171E TO  
180. THIS IS JUST EAST OF MAJURO.
