...RAIN AND SNOW MELT WILL RESULT IN SHARP RISES ON SMALL  
STREAMS AND RIVERS IN THE CASCADES SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...  
 
A WET ATMOSPHERIC RIVER EVENT WILL OCCUR OVER THE NORTH  
CASCADES SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.  
 
AFTER A BRIEF BREAK IN THE RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING,  
STEADY MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL DEVELOP BY SATURDAY EVENING.  
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE NEAR  
THE CREST OF THE CASCADES THROUGH MONDAY, INCLUDING OVER THE  
HEADWATERS THAT FEED THE STEHEKIN RIVER.  
 
MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL BE POSSIBLE. THERE  
WILL ALSO BE AN INCREASED RISK OF ROCK SLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS IN  
STEEP TERRAIN. THE STEHEKIN RIVER WILL BE RUNNING HIGH AND COULD  
REACH FLOOD STAGE BY SUNDAY EVENING.
