A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING DRY AND WARMING CONDITIONS ACROSS THE
STATE THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL DEVELOP AS THE RIDGE
PROGRESSES EASTWARD, WITH GUSTY AFTERNOON WINDS BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AN
APPROACHING PACIFIC SYSTEM WILL BRING AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ACROSS THE STATE
BEGINNING LATE SUNDAY, WITH THE SYSTEM MOVING EASTWARD THROUGH MONDAY. MONDAY
WILL BE THE COOLEST DAY ACROSS THE STATE, WITH MOUNTAIN SNOW AND VALLEY RAIN
ANTICIPATED. AS THE LOW MOVES TO THE EAST ON TUESDAY, HIGH PRESSURE WILL
RETURN WITH MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS AND WARMING TEMPERATURES, WHICH WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.
