AT 145 PM PDT, DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM 10  
MILES SOUTH OF CHEWELAH,OR BETWEEN VALLEY AND SPRINGDALE, MOVING  
EAST AT 10 MPH. HEAVY DOWNPOURS, PEA SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS  
OF 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
PERSONS IN CAMPGROUNDS OR NEAR LAKES. SHOULD CONSIDER SEEKING STURDY  
SHELTER UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES. REMEMBER, LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE OUT  
TO 10 MILES FROM THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM. IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER,  
YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
