THE HEARTLAND. AFTERWARDS, AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN IS SHAPING UP  
FOR FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO NEXT WEEK. PERIODS OF  
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH MUCH OF THIS  
TIME FRAME. ONE MORE DAY IN THE LOW TO MID 90S IS EXPECTED ON  
THURSDAY, BEFORE A COOL DOWN COMMENCES. FRIDAY WILL BE A  
TRANSITION DAY, WITH MORE CLOUDS AND RAIN AROUND TO KEEP  
TEMPERATURES DOWN IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S. HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN  
THE 70S THIS WEEKEND ACROSS THE AREA, A WELCOME CHANGE TO THE
