SPOT FORECAST FOR TA 20...FT. CAMPBELL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
732 AM CDT WED APR 10 2019

FORECAST IS BASED ON IGNITION TIME OF 1000 CDT ON APRIL 10.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

DISCUSSION

DRY AND WARM CONDITIONS TODAY WILL ALLOW FOR MINIMUM RH VALUES TO
DROP DOWN INTO THE LOWER 30S. IT IS POSSIBLE IF TEMPERATURES REACH
HIGHER THAN FORECAST AND/OR MOISTURE DOES NOT INCREASE AS QUICKLY
AS FORECAST, THAT THE MINIMUM RH COULD DROP INTO THE UPPER 20S
LATER TODAY. WINDS SHOULD REMAIN HIGH ENOUGH TO PRECLUDE ANY FOG
FORMATION TONIGHT. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SOON MOVE INTO THE
REGION WITH SHOWERS AND STORMS DEVELOPING BY THURSDAY EVENING AND
LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT. STRONG GRADIENT WINDS WILL PREVAIL ON
THURSDAY, WITH PEAK GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH POSSIBLE. STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL THURSDAY EVENING.
