A NUMBER OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE POPPED UP EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE WILL BE TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS
AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. AS OF RIGHT NOW, THE STRONGEST STORMS NEAR
THE SPOT ARE JUST NORTH OF LURAY, VA WHICH ARE MOVING TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST. THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL EVENTUALLY CROSS THIS
LOCATION IN THE NEXT 30 TO 60 MINUTES.

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY OVERNIGHT,
BEFORE CROSSING THE MID-ATLANTIC MONDAY AFTERNOON. THIS WILL BRING
SOME ADDITIONAL SHOWERS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. ANY THUNDER
CHANCES APPEAR MINIMAL.

AFTER THE COLD FRONT PASSES MONDAY AFTERNOON, HIGH PRESSURE MOVES
IN FROM THE WEST WHICH WILL BRING COOLER AND LESS HUMID CONDITIONS
THROUGH MID-WEEK.
