WAVES ARE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT - THE AVERAGE OF THE  
HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVE SPECTRUM. OCCASIONAL WAVE HEIGHT IS THE  
AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST 1/10 OF THE WAVE SPECTRUM.  
   
SYNOPSIS
 
HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY BUILD SOUTHEASTWARD OVER THE  
UPPER GREAT LAKES TODAY. THIS HIGH WILL BUILD TO 30.3 INCHES AND  
REMAIN OVER THE REGION THROUGH SATURDAY, WHEN IT SHIFTS EAST OVER  
ONTARIO, AND EVENTUALLY QUEBEC. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES WILL  
THEN DEVELOP OVER THE DAKOTAS LATE SUNDAY. THIS LOW WILL  
STRENGTHEN MONDAY EVENING TO 29.3 INCHES, WHILE LIFTING NORTHEAST  
INTO ONTARIO, SWINGING A 29.4 INCH TROUGH THROUGH THE UPPER GREAT  
LAKES. THROUGH THE MIDDLE PART OF NEXT WEEK, THIS SURFACE LOW WILL  
REMAIN PARKED NEAR HUDSON BAY WHILE STRENGTHENING TO 29.1 INCHES.
