THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN  
ILLINOIS, SOUTHWEST INDIANA, WESTERN KENTUCKY, AND SOUTHEAST  
MISSOURI.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
BREEZY CONDITIONS TODAY WILL RESULT IN AN ELEVATED HAZARD FOR  
BOATERS ON AREA LAKES. AS A RESULT, A LAKE WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN  
ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE REGION FROM 9 AM THROUGH 6 PM.  
 
A GOOD CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS FORECAST ACROSS THE REGION TODAY  
AND INTO THIS EVENING. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE  
POSSIBLE MAINLY ACROSS THE EVANSVILLE TRI STATE AND THE PENNYRILE  
REGION OF WEST KENTUCKY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING  
WINDS WILL BE THE THE MAIN CONCERN, BUT A BRIEF TORNADO AND EVEN  
SOME LARGE HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM STRONGER, MORE ISOLATED  
STORMS. THE THREAT WILL COME TO AN END THIS EVENING, AS A COLD  
FRONT PASSES THROUGH THE REGION.  
 
RIVER LEVELS WILL SLOWLY FALL ON THE FLOODED MISSISSIPPI RIVER  
AND ITS TRIBUTARIES. PLEASE REFER TO RIVER FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR  
DETAILS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY  
 
A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS FORECAST TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  
THE BEST CHANCE WILL BE TUESDAY NIGHT WHEN A FEW SEVERE STORMS  
WITH DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION, A STRAY STRONG  
TO SEVERE STORM CANNOT BE RULED OUT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.  
OTHERWISE, LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE MAIN  
CONCERNS.  
 
FLOODING OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES WILL SLOWLY  
DECREASE.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE REQUESTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING  
MAINLY OVER THE EVANSVILLE TRI STATE AND THE PENNYRILE REGION OF
