WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
327 AM CST WED JAN 20 2021

HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT EAST TODAY, AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE PASSING
TO OUR SOUTH BRINGS A CHANCE OF RAIN TO MAINLY WESTERN KENTUCKY
TONIGHT. 40S TODAY AND 30S TONIGHT WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A RETURN
TOWARD THE 50S AND DRIER WEATHER TOMORROW. HIGH PRESSURE WORKING
DOWN THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY WILL PUSH SOME COLDER AIR FROM
CANADA ACROSS THE REGION BY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, WITH UPPER 30S
TO LOWER 40S FOR HIGHS AND 20S REAPPEARING FOR LOWS. THIS PRECEDES
THE NEXT WEATHER SYSTEM THAT BRINGS MODERATING TEMPERATURES AND
WET WEATHER TO BEGIN THE NEW WEEK.
