DISCUSSION

LARGE SCALE WINDS ACROSS THE REGION WILL CONTAIN A SOUTHERN
COMPONENT THROUGH TOMORROW. HOWEVER, AS WIND SPEED IS LIGHTER THAN
10 MPH, LOCAL TERRAIN EFFECTS WILL BECOME THE MAIN CONTROL FOR
DIRECTION FOR MOST OF THE FORECAST AND AREA. EXPECT LOCALIZED
DOWN COULEE FLOW THROUGH TONIGHT AND UP COULEE FLOW TOMORROW
AFTER SUNRISE. THE BURN SITE LOOKS TO REMAIN DRY THROUGH MOST
OF TONIGHT AND INTO FRIDAY WITH CURRENT SHOWERS STAYING WELL
SOUTHWEST OF IT. CHANCES(10-20%) FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
BEGIN TO ARRIVE FRIDAY EVENING. THOUGH NO WETTING RAINS ARE
EXPECTED WITH THIS ACTIVITY. GUSTY ERRATIC WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE
NEAR ANY SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.
