A COLD FRONT PASSING THROUGH THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY WILL  
INITIATE A PERIOD OF COOLER AND WETTER WEATHER THURSDAY THROUGH  
SATURDAY. TOTAL RAINFALL OF 0.5 TO 1 INCHES IS POSSIBLE THROUGH  
THIS PERIOD WITH SNOW POSSIBLE AT THE TRAILHEAD OVERNIGHT.  
CONDITIONS GRADUALLY IMPROVE BEGINNING SUNDAY, BUT WITH RAIN  
SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING AT TIMES INTO NEXT  
WEEK. A TRANSITION BACK TO SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS NEXT WEDNESDAY AND  
THURSDAY RETURNS TEMPERATURES TO NEAR AVERAGE, BUT ALSO RAISES THE  
POTENTIAL FOR STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS.
