THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA,  
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS, DURHAM, EDGECOMBE, FRANKLIN,  
GRANVILLE, HALIFAX, JOHNSTON, NASH, VANCE, WAKE, WARREN, WAYNE AND  
WILSON HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  
 
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2-4 INCHES OVER THE PAST 12 TO 24 HOURS ACROSS  
PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN PIEDMONT HAVE LIKELY CAUSED SOME SMALL  
CREEKS AND STREAMS TO RISE TO NEAR BANK FULL. HOWEVER, THE MORE  
PERSISTENT MODERATE RAIN HAS MOVED OUT OF THE AREA AND THE THREAT OF  
FLASH FLOODING HAS ENDED.
