A COLD FRONT MOVED THROUGH WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL WEDNESDAY  
NIGHT BRINGING MUCH COOLER AIR INTO THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON.  
HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S MARKED A 15 TO 20 DEGREE COOL  
DOWN FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON'S HIGHS IN THE 90S AND 100S.  
 
TONIGHT, UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL  
ROCKIES WILL MERGE TO FORM AN UPPER LEVEL LOW ACROSS WESTERN NEBRASKA.  
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WYOMING AND SOUTH  
DAKOTA WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN NEBRASKA TONIGHT. ALTHOUGH THE RISK  
OF SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW, SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG  
AND PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH THE BEST  
CHANCE OF THIS OCCURRING ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA.
