IT WILL BE BREEZY TODAY UNDER INCREASING CLOUDS. WEST WINDS WILL  
BLOW 10 TO 20 MPH, WITH HIGHER GUSTS, ENABLING MILD WARMING WITH  
TEMPERATURES PEAKING IN THE MID 30S TO LOWER 40S.  
 
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT BRINGING A RETURN  
TO THE CHILL. LOWS BY THURSDAY MORNING WILL BE IN THE TEENS.  
HOWEVER, ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST MASSACHUSETTS LOWS WILL FALL INTO THE  
SINGLE DIGITS, WHILE ACROSS THE SOUTH COAST IN THE LOW AND MID 20S.  
 
A COLD DRY DOME OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER NEW ENGLAND ON  
THURSDAY WITH TEMPERATURES ONLY TOPPING OUT IN THE 20S.  
 
THE DRY PATTERN TAKES A TURN FOR LATE WEEK. A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE  
WILL MOVE ACROSS NEW ENGLAND LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING  
AND BRING SNOW ACROSS OUR REGION AT THE ONSET. SNOW WILL CHANGE TO  
RAIN AFTER SUNRISE FRIDAY ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAIN. DRY AND COLD  
WEATHER FOLLOWS FOR FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY.  
 
AREA MAIN STEM RIVER LEVELS WILL REMAIN NEARLY STEADY OVER THE NEXT  
24 TO 48 HOURS.
