DISCUSSION

LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER CALIFORNIA AND THE GREAT
BASIN REGION WILL ALLOW FOR BREEZY TO GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS TO
DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA TODAY. EXPECT SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 20-25
MPH AND GUSTS TO 30-35 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS SHOULD DECREASE
SHORTLY AFTER SUNSET, BUT REMAIN ELEVATED WITH WINDS TO AROUND
10-15 MPH FROM THE SOUTHWEST. WINDS MAY DECREASE FOR A FEW HOURS
EARLY TOMORROW MORNING ALLOWING FOR DOWN VALLEY WINDS TO KICK IN, BUT
CONFIDENCE IS LOW AND WINDS FAVORING A SOUTH TO SOUTHWESTERLY DIRECTION
IS MORE LIKELY. SLIGHTLY STRONGER WINDS ARE EXPECTED TOMORROW
AFTERNOON. BESIDES WINDS, EXPECT MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND DRY
CONDITIONS TO REMAIN THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK.
