AT 122 PM PDT, SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATED A CLOUD OF ASH BLOWING  
OFF OF THE MARTIN FIRE BURN SCAR LEFT FROM LAST YEAR. ASH COULD  
HAMPER VISIBILITY AND DECREASE THE AIR QUALITY ACROSS NORTHWEST ELKO  
COUNTY, INCLUDING ALONG MOUNTAIN CITY HIGHWAY. WINDS WILL BE GUSTING  
MORE THAN 40 MPH ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHERN ELKO COUNTY  
THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING. THUS BLOWING ASH WILL BE A PROBLEM UNTIL  
THE WIND SETTLES DOWN. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELLING  
FROM ELKO TOWARDS MOUNTAIN CITY.

MOUNTAIN CITY, CHARLESTON, JARBIDGE, TUSCARORA, CHICKEN CREEK SUMMIT,
