WE HAVE LET THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY EXPIRE ON TIME THIS  
MORNING FOR THE GREATER LAKE TAHOE AREA AS IMPROVING CONDITIONS  
ARE EXPECTED FOR THIS AFTERNOON. ANTICIPATE ONGOING SNOWFALL FOR  
THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO TAPERING TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS  
THEREAFTER WITH LIMITED ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION. WEST-SOUTHWEST  
WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE GUSTY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE  
AFTERNOON, BUT WEAKENING OVERNIGHT.  
 
PLAN ON CONTINUED SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS DUE TO A FEW INCHES OF  
SLUSHY ACCUMULATION ON AREA ROADWAYS AND SIERRA PASSES, INCLUDING  
DONNER, MT. ROSE, CARSON, ECHO, EBBETTS, AND SONORA. ICY PATCHES  
ARE POSSIBLE FOR THE PASSES TONIGHT AS TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW
