COMMENTS: WIND WARNING LEVEL ONE EXTENDED THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON.  
 
A LOW-PRESSURE SYSTEM SOUTH OF THE PROVINCE WILL TRACK OFF TO THE  
NORTHEAST THROUGHOUT TODAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL HAS OCCURED  
OVERNIGHT WITH LIGHT SNOW MIXED WITH ICE PELLETS THIS MORNING. SNOW  
WILL TAPER TO FLURRIES THIS MORNING THEN END THIS AFTERNOON. A  
STRONG NORTHERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE TODAY BEFORE GRADUALLY EASING  
THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING AS THE SYSTEM PULLS AWAY FROM THE  
REGION.  
 
PRECIPITATION... THE BULK OF THE SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION IS BEHIND US  
WITH HEAVY SNOW TRACKING OFF TO THE NORTHEAST. LIGHT SNOW WILL  
CONTINUE THIS MORNING AND IS EXPECTED TO BECOME MIXED WITH ICE  
PELLETS. SNOW AND ICE PELLETS WILL TAPER TO FLURRIES LATER THIS  
MORNING AS THE ASSOCIATED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS TO THE EAST.  
ANOTHER 2 TO 4 CM OF ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED BEFORE ENDING THIS  
AFTERNOON.  
 
WIND... STRONG NORTH/NORTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST  
AND CONTINUE TO GUST TO 35 KNOTS THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL  
GRADUALLY EASE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING AS THE SYSTEM  
TRACKS AWAY FROM THE REGION.
