STRONG WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT  
FREEZING SPRAY WARNING IN EFFECT  
 
A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD FROM THE WEST TODAY. MODERATE TO  
STRONG AND GUSTY NORTHWESTERLIES AHEAD OF THE RIDGE DIMINISH AS IT  
APPROACHES. A LOW PRESSURE CENTRE WILL INTENSIFY AS IT PASSES WELL  
SOUTH OF NOVA SCOTIA ON WEDNESDAY. WINDS INCREASE TO MODERATE TO  
STRONG NORTHERLIES AS THE LOW APPROACHES AND BACK TO MODERATE TO  
STRONG NORTHWESTERLIES AS IT PASSES BY. WINDS DIMINISH TO LIGHT TO  
MODERATE NORTHWESTERLIES WEDNESDAY EVENING AS THE LOW MOVES FARTHER  
AWAY.  
 
THESE STRONG WINDS COMBINED WITH COLD TEMPERATURES WILL GIVE RISE TO  
WIND CHILL AND FREEZING SPRAY CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS ARE  
ABATED SOMEWHAT BY LIGHTER WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING BUT  
RETURN ONCE AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND CONTINUE ON WEDNESDAY.
