AT 9:49 A.M. ADT, ENVIRONMENT CANADA METEOROLOGISTS ARE TRACKING A  
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG WIND GUSTS AND HEAVY  
RAIN.  
 
MAXIMUM RAINFALL RATES: 20 TO 30 MM PER HOUR IN THUNDERSTORMS.  
 
LOCATIONS: IN THE PATH INCLUDE: FLAT RIVER, WOOD ISLANDS, MURRAY  
RIVER, MONTAGUE.  
 
TIME SPAN: ENDING LATER THIS MORNING.  
 
REMARKS: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS  
LOCATED OVER FLAT RIVER AND IS MOVING EAST AT 40 KM/H.  
 
HEAVY DOWNPOURS CAN CAUSE FLASH FLOODS AND WATER POOLING ON ROADS.  
LIGHTNING KILLS AND INJURES CANADIANS EVERY YEAR. REMEMBER, WHEN  
THUNDER ROARS, GO INDOORS(EXCLAMATION MARK)  
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN IMMINENT OR OCCURRING  
THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO PRODUCE OR ARE PRODUCING ONE OR MORE OF  
THE FOLLOWING: LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS, TORRENTIAL RAINFALL.
