AT 3:02 P.M. ADT, ENVIRONMENT CANADA METEOROLOGISTS ARE TRACKING A  
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN.  
 
POTENTIAL RAINFALL RATES: 25 TO 35 MM PER HOUR.  
 
LOCATIONS: CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK.  
 
TIME SPAN: THIS AFTERNOON.  
 
REMARKS: A NEAR STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM OVER CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS  
NATIONAL PARK IS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS.  
 
HEAVY DOWNPOURS CAN CAUSE FLASH FLOODS AND WATER POOLING ON ROADS.  
LIGHTNING KILLS AND INJURES CANADIANS EVERY YEAR. REMEMBER, WHEN  
THUNDER ROARS, GO INDOORS(EXCLAMATION MARK)  
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN IMMINENT OR OCCURRING  
THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO PRODUCE OR ARE PRODUCING ONE OR MORE OF
