LOCATION: NEAR 47.3 NORTH 50.0 WEST.  
 
ABOUT 245 KILOMETRES EAST-NORTHEAST OF CAPE RACE.  
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 120 KM/H.  
 
PRESENT MOVEMENT: EAST-NORTHEAST AT 57 KM/H.  
 
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE: 984 MILLIBARS.  
 
ST. JOHNS WEST RECEIVED 52.3 MM OF RAINFALL. ST. JOHNS AIRPORT  
RECEIVED 35.9 MM. CAPE RACE RECEIVED 36.0. CAPE RACE HAD A WIND GUST  
TO 67 KM/H.  
 
VERY LARGE WAVES AND STORM TO HURRICANE FORCE WINDS OCCURRED OVER  
PORTIONS OF THE GRAND BANKS. THE WINDS HAVE DIMINISHED OVER THE  
SOUTHERN GRAND BANKS AND WILL DIMINISH OVER THE NORTHERN GRAND BANKS
