SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
FOR LABRADOR
UPDATED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA
AT 11:09 A.M. AST SUNDAY 19 JANUARY 2025.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT FOR:
CHURCHILL VALLEY
CARTWRIGHT TO BLACK TICKLE.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
==DISCUSSION==

SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE.

TIME SPAN: EARLY MONDAY MORNING UNTIL MONDAY NIGHT.

LOCATIONS: CHURCHILL VALLEY AND CARTWRIGHT TO BLACK TICKLE.

TOTAL SNOWFALL: POTENTIALLY REACHING OR EXCEEDING 15 CM.

REMARKS: LATEST FORECAST GUIDANCE HAS SHIFTED THE TRACK OF THE STORM
SYSTEM SLIGHTLY FURTHER EAST, WHICH LESSENS THE THREAT OF
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL OVER THE CHURCHILL VALLEY REGION, BUT INCREASES
THE THREAT OF SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL FOR CARTWRIGHT.

FOR THE BLACK TICKLE AREA, THIS UNCERTAINTY IN THE STORM'S TRACK
MEANS THAT THERE IS A CHANCE THAT PRECIPITATION CHANGES TO RAIN AT
SOME POINT ON MONDAY.

IF THERE ARE ANY FURTHER SHIFTS IN THE FORECAST GUIDANCE, SNOWFALL
WARNINGS MAY STILL BE REQUIRED.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
ENVIRONMENT CANADA. TO REPORT SEVERE WEATHER, SEND AN EMAIL TO
