==DISCUSSION==  
 
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED IN SOME AREAS.  
 
LOCATIONS: NORMAN BAY TO L'ANSE AU CLAIR.  
 
TOTAL SNOWFALL: 5 TO 15 CM ALONG THE COAST AND 15 TO 30 CM INLAND  
AND OVER HIGHER TERRAIN.  
 
TIME SPAN: TODAY AND THIS EVENING.  
 
REMARKS: SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL VARY ACROSS THESE REGIONS WITH  
THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS INLAND AND OVER HIGHER TERRAIN, ESPECIALLY NORTH  
OF RED BAY. ANYONE CONSIDERING TRAVEL SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY  
CHANGING CONDITIONS.  
 
SNOW WILL MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO ICE PELLETS OR FREEZING RAIN CAN BE  
THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE COAST, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE LABRADOR  
STRAITS.  
 
BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS.  
RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT OVER SOME  
LOCATIONS.  
 
SNOWFALL WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED.
