A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOW SQUALLS PRODUCING BLIZZARD-LIKE  
CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  
 
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL: 5 TO 10 CM WITH LOCALLY UP TO 25 CM IN SNOW  
SQUALLS.  
 
MAXIMUM WIND GUSTS: WESTERLY NEAR 70 KM/H.  
 
LOCATIONS: CORNER BROOK AND VICINITY, GROS MORNE, AND DEER LAKE AND  
VICINITY.  
 
TIME SPAN: CONTINUING THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  
 
REMARKS: AT THIS TIME, THE FLURRIES AND SNOW SQUALLS ARE EXPECTED TO  
SUBSIDE OR SHIFT SOUTH OF THE AREA LATER WEDNESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY  
NIGHT, BUT COULD RETURN AGAIN IN FULL FORCE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD  
ON THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.  
 
SNOW SQUALLS CAUSE WEATHER CONDITIONS TO VARY  
CONSIDERABLY(SEMICOLON) CHANGES FROM CLEAR SKIES TO HEAVY SNOW  
WITHIN JUST A FEW KILOMETRES ARE COMMON. TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE  
HAZARDOUS DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITY.  
 
SNOW SQUALL WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN BANDS OF SNOW FORM THAT PRODUCE  
INTENSE ACCUMULATING SNOW OR NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES.
