==DISCUSSION==  
 
A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOW SQUALLS PRODUCING BLIZZARD-LIKE  
CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED.  
 
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL: LOCALLY RANGING FROM 10 TO 20 CM WHERE SNOW  
SQUALLS SET UP AND ARE MOST PERSISTENT.  
 
MAXIMUM WIND GUSTS: WESTERLY 70 KM/H.  
 
LOCATIONS: BAY ST. GEORGE AND CHANNEL-PORT AUX BASQUES AND VICINITY.  
 
TIME SPAN: CONTINUING THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT.  
 
REMARKS: CONDITIONS ARE FAVOURABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTENSE  
SNOW SQUALLS. VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO NEAR ZERO FOR EXTENDED  
PERIODS AS STRONG WESTERLY WINDS ACCOMPANY THE SQUALLS.  
 
TRAVEL MAY BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO SUDDEN CHANGES IN THE WEATHER.  
VISIBILITY MAY BE SUDDENLY REDUCED AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW.  
 
SNOW SQUALL WATCHES ARE ISSUED WHEN CONDITIONS ARE FAVOURABLE FOR  
THE FORMATION OF BANDS OF SNOW THAT COULD PRODUCE INTENSE  
ACCUMULATING SNOW OR NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES.
