==DISCUSSION==  
 
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED OVER HIGHER TERRAIN.  
 
LOCATIONS: THE TRANS-LABRADOR HIGHWAY FROM CARTWRIGHT JUNCTION TO  
UPPER LAKE MELVILLE.  
 
TOTAL SNOWFALL: 5 TO 10 CM, EXCEPT NEAR 15 CM OVER HIGHER TERRAIN.  
 
TIME SPAN: UNTIL LATER THIS EVENING.  
 
REMARKS: PRECIPITATION WILL FALL MAINLY AS SNOW EXCEPT AS RAIN IN  
THE CARTWRIGHT JUNCTION AREA UNTIL PRECIPITATION TAPERS OFF TO  
FLURRIES NEAR MIDNIGHT.  
 
TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BE CHALLENGING. ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR TRAVEL.  
SNOWFALL WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED  
DUE TO SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS.
