==DISCUSSION==

AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.

PERIODIC FREEZING DRIZZLE IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THURSDAY.

THE FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE WEST COAST OF HUDSON
BAY THURSDAY AS WINDS REMAIN EASTERLY. CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO
IMPROVE BY FRIDAY MORNING AS THE WIND DIRECTION CHANGES TO
NORTHERLY.

IN ADDITION, PATCHY FREEZING FOG WILL CONTINUE FOR MANY COMMUNITIES
ON THURSDAY.

SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS WILL
BECOME ICY, SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS. FREEZING DRIZZLE CAN PRODUCE
THIN, HARD-TO-DETECT LAYERS OF ICE. TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN WALKING OR
DRIVING IN AFFECTED AREAS.

FREEZING DRIZZLE ADVISORIES ARE ISSUED WHEN DRIZZLE FALLING IN
SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED TO FREEZE ON CONTACT, AND OVER
TIME CREATE ICY SURFACES.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
ENVIRONMENT CANADA. TO REPORT SEVERE WEATHER, SEND AN EMAIL TO
NUSTORM(AT)EC.GC.CA OR TWEET REPORTS USING (HASH)NUSTORM.
