==DISCUSSION==

POOR VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW IS EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARD:
POOR TO NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY AT TIMES IN BLOWING SNOW.

TIMING:
BEGINNING THIS MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

DISCUSSION:
STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS GUSTING 60 TO 70 KM/H WILL DEVELOP THIS
MORNING. THESE WINDS COMBINED WITH FALLING SNOW WILL PRODUCE POOR TO
NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY AT TIMES IN BLOWING SNOW. CONDITIONS SHOULD
IMPROVE SUNDAY MORNING.

VISIBILITY MAY BE SIGNIFICANTLY AND SUDDENLY REDUCED TO NEAR ZERO.
IF OUTSIDE, DRESS WARMLY IN LAYERS AND STAY DRY. COVER AS MUCH
EXPOSED SKIN AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID FROSTBITE. ENSURE THAT SHELTER IS
PROVIDED FOR PETS AND OUTDOOR ANIMALS.

BLOWING SNOW ADVISORIES ARE ISSUED WHEN WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO CREATE
BLOWING SNOW GIVING POOR VISIBILITY TO 800 METRES OR LESS FOR AT
LEAST 3 HOURS.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
