==DISCUSSION==  
 
LAKE EFFECT SNOW SQUALLS OFF LAKE ONTARIO BEGINNING LATE THIS  
AFTERNOON.  
 
WHAT:  
HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 20 TO 30 CM,  
PARTICULARLY OVER THE SOUTHERN PART OF PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY.  
REDUCED VISIBILITY, NEAR ZERO AT TIMES, IN HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING  
SNOW.  
 
WHEN:  
LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.  
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  
LAKE EFFECT SNOW OFF LAKE ONTARIO IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE THIS  
AFTERNOON OR EARLY THIS EVENING. LOCATIONS FROM SANDBANKS TO MILFORD  
AND SOUTH SHOULD SEE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL AMOUNTS. IN ADDITION,  
WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING UP TO 60 KM/H WILL RESULT IN SIGNIFICANTLY  
REDUCED VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW.  
 
SNOW SQUALLS CAUSE WEATHER CONDITIONS TO VARY  
CONSIDERABLY(SEMICOLON) CHANGES FROM CLEAR SKIES TO HEAVY SNOW  
WITHIN JUST A FEW KILOMETRES ARE COMMON. VISIBILITY MAY BE  
SIGNIFICANTLY AND SUDDENLY REDUCED TO NEAR ZERO. SURFACES SUCH AS  
HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS MAY BECOME DIFFICULT TO  
NAVIGATE DUE TO ACCUMULATING SNOW. CONSIDER POSTPONING NON-ESSENTIAL  
TRAVEL UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.
