==DISCUSSION==

SNOW SQUALLS ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT.

WHAT:
HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WITH LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 20 CM.
REDUCED VISIBILITY IN HEAVY SNOW AND LOCAL BLOWING SNOW.

WHEN:
TONIGHT.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
LAKE EFFECT SNOW OFF LAKE HURON MAY AFFECT THE COLLINGWOOD AREA
TONIGHT. THERE IS CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY IN THE EXACT PLACEMENT OF
THE HEAVIEST LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS AND WHETHER OR NOT THEY WILL
PUSH INTO THE COLLINGWOOD AREA. THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS NOT
EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE BARRIE AREA.

WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING TO 50 KM/H MAY RESULT IN LOCAL BLOWING SNOW,
ESPECIALLY FOR EXPOSED AREAS NEAR GEORGIAN BAY.

SNOW SQUALLS CAUSE WEATHER CONDITIONS TO VARY
CONSIDERABLY(SEMICOLON) CHANGES FROM CLEAR SKIES TO HEAVY SNOW
WITHIN JUST A FEW KILOMETRES ARE COMMON. VISIBILITY MAY BE SUDDENLY
REDUCED AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW. SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS,
WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS MAY BECOME DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE DUE TO
ACCUMULATING SNOW.
