AT 2:58 P.M. PDT, ENVIRONMENT CANADA METEOROLOGISTS ARE TRACKING A  
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL TO PING  
PONG BALL SIZE HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN.  
 
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS LOCATED OVER THE OKANAGAN CONNECTOR  
(HIGHWAY 97C) BETWEEN ASPEN GROVE AND ELKHART LAKE RECREATION SITE.  
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING NORTHWEST AT 30 KM/H.  
 
HEAVY DOWNPOURS CAN CAUSE FLASH FLOODS AND WATER POOLING ON ROADS.  
IF VISIBILITY IS REDUCED WHILE DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, WATCH FOR TAIL  
LIGHTS AHEAD AND BE PREPARED TO STOP. INTENSE LIGHTNING IS LIKELY  
WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM THAT DEVELOPS. LIGHTNING KILLS AND INJURES  
CANADIANS EVERY YEAR. REMEMBER, WHEN THUNDER ROARS, GO  
INDOORS(EXCLAMATION MARK)  
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN IMMINENT OR OCCURRING  
THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO PRODUCE OR ARE PRODUCING ONE OR MORE OF  
THE FOLLOWING: LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS, TORRENTIAL RAINFALL.
