==DISCUSSION==

SNOWFALL WITH TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 15 CM IS EXPECTED.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING IN MUCH OF WESTERN MANITOBA AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM JUST SOUTH OF THE BORDER CONTINUES TRACKING
NORTHEAST. WIDESPREAD FURTHER SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 5-10 CM CAN
BE EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE AREA, WITH UP TO 15 CM POSSIBLE IN A
FEW LOCALITIES.

SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS WILL ALSO BE A HAZARD WITH THIS SYSTEM AS
COLD AIR WILL BEGIN TO MOVE INTO THE REGION OVERNIGHT, CREATING ICY
ROAD CONDITIONS SUNDAY MORNING.

SNOW SHOULD TAPER OFF LATE THIS EVENING OR OVERNIGHT AS THE LOW
WEAKENS AND MOVES INTO EASTERN MANITOBA.

BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS.
PREPARE FOR QUICKLY CHANGING AND DETERIORATING TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT OVER SOME
LOCATIONS. VISIBILITY MAY BE SUDDENLY REDUCED AT TIMES IN HEAVY
SNOW. SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS
MAY BECOME DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE DUE TO ACCUMULATING SNOW.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
ENVIRONMENT CANADA. TO REPORT SEVERE WEATHER, SEND AN EMAIL TO
