==DISCUSSION==

SNOW HAS MOVED INTO THE SOUTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY OVERNIGHT AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM CROSSES NORTH DAKOTA. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS NEAR 10 CM
CAN BE EXPECTED HERE BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL OFF AS ONE TRAVELS
NORTH, WITH WINNIPEG EXPECTING A FEW CM THIS MORNING.

THE MAJORITY OF THE SNOW HAS FALLEN IN SOUTHWESTERN MANITOBA, WITH
PERHAPS ANOTHER COUPLE CM OR SO BEFORE TAPERING OFF THIS MORNING.

BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS.
RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT OVER SOME
LOCATIONS. VISIBILITY MAY BE SUDDENLY REDUCED AT TIMES IN HEAVY
SNOW. PUBLIC SAFETY CANADA ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY
PLAN AND GET AN EMERGENCY KIT WITH DRINKING WATER, FOOD, MEDICINE, A
FIRST-AID KIT AND A FLASHLIGHT. FOR INFORMATION ON EMERGENCY PLANS
AND KITS GO TO HTTPS://WWW.GETPREPARED.GC.CA/.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
