==DISCUSSION==

POOR VISIBILITY IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IS OCCURRING IN SOME AREAS.

WIND GUSTS OF 60 TO 80 KM/H ARE ALSO CAUSING DRIFTING SNOW WHICH IS
ADDING TO POOR DRIVING CONDITIONS.

WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH OVERNIGHT, ALLOWING CONDITIONS TO
IMPROVE.

NARROW BANDS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACROSS CENTRAL ALBERTA MAY
PERSIST INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. UNDER THESE BANDS, LOCALIZED
ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 CM ARE POSSIBLE.

TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITY IN SOME
LOCATIONS. VISIBILITY MAY BE SIGNIFICANTLY AND SUDDENLY REDUCED TO
NEAR ZERO. BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD
CONDITIONS. CONSIDER POSTPONING NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL UNTIL
CONDITIONS IMPROVE.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR ALERTS AND FORECASTS ISSUED BY
