DESCRIPTION: WIND CHILL INDEX OF MINUS 25 OR COLDER

COMMENTS: SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS NO LONGER EXPECTED. SNOW HAS NOW  
TAPERED INTO FLURRIES AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM HAS MOVED OFF TO  
THE NORTHEAST.  
 
STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WIND GUSTS NEAR 25 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED TO  
CONTINUE IN THE WAKE OF THE DEPARTING LOW. THESE WINDS HAVE  
POTENTIAL TO CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW, ESPECIALLY OVER HIGHER  
TERRAIN. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH AFTER MIDNIGHT AS  
THE SYSTEM MOVES FURTHER NORTH.  
 
IN ADDITION, STRONG WINDS COMBINED WITH COLD TEMPERATURES WILL  
GIVE WIND CHILL VALUES NEAR MINUS 30 BEGINNING NEAR MIDNIGHT AND  
ENDING TUESDAY MORNING.

EXPOSED SKIN AREAS CAN FREEZE IN 10 TO 30 MINUTES.

EXPOSED SKIN AREAS CAN FREEZE IN 5 TO 10 MINUTES.  
-48 TO -54: VERY HIGH RISK OF FROSTBITE.
