AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHWESTERN MANISTEE COUNTY...  
 
AT 1034 AM EDT, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING  
HEAVY RAIN RETURNING TO THE WARNED AREA, ESPECIALLY NEAR ONEKAMA. A  
SMALL CREEK NEAR ONEKAMA HAS ALREADY RISEN OUT OF ITS BANKS. BETWEEN  
2 AND 3.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP  
TO 0.5 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA.  
 
HAZARD...FLASH FLOODING CAUSED BY THUNDERSTORMS.  
 
SOURCE...RADAR.  
 
IMPACT...FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS, URBAN AREAS,  
HIGHWAYS, STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR  
DRAINAGE AND LOW-LYING AREAS.  
 
SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE...  
MANISTEE, EASTLAKE, ONEKAMA, BEAR LAKE, NORWALK, PARKDALE, ORCHARD  
BEACH STATE PARK AND WILDWOOD.
