MONDAY NIGHT...  
 
THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR  
 
* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL VERMONT AND SOUTHERN VERMONT, INCLUDING THE  
FOLLOWING AREAS, IN CENTRAL VERMONT, EASTERN ADDISON, ORANGE AND  
WESTERN ADDISON. IN SOUTHERN VERMONT, EASTERN RUTLAND, WESTERN  
RUTLAND AND WINDSOR.  
 
* FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT.  
 
* LOCALIZED MODERATE TO ISOLATED HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE FROM THE  
REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM HENRI ON MONDAY INTO MONDAY EVENING  
ASSOCIATED WITH CONVECTIVE SHOWERS. PARTS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN  
VERMONT ARE EXPECTED TO RECEIVE 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCALIZED  
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE SOUTHERN  
GREEN MOUNTAINS OF VERMONT.  
 
* HEAVY RAIN MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OVER URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE  
AREAS, ALONG WITH MINOR DIRT ROAD AND CULVERT WASHOUTS.  
ADDITIONALLY, SHARP RISES ON SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL BE  
POSSIBLE. AT THIS TIME, OTTER CREEK AT CENTER RUTLAND IS FORECAST  
TO RISE TO MINOR FLOOD STAGE BY TUESDAY MORNING.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD  
WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED
