THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS EXTENDED THE  
 
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...  
NORTHERN LEXINGTON COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...  
NORTHWESTERN RICHLAND COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...  
 
* UNTIL 1015 AM EDT.  
 
* AT 905 AM EDT, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN HAD ENDED ACROSS  
THE WARNED AREA. HOWEVER, THREE TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN  
SINCE LAST NIGHT, AND THIS HAS RESULTED IN ONGOING FLASH FLOODING  
IN THE COLUMBIA AREA. CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY IMPROVE  
THROUGH THE MORNING.  
 
* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...  
COLUMBIA, LEXINGTON, WEST COLUMBIA, CAYCE, IRMO, FOREST ACRES,  
SPRINGDALE, DENTSVILLE, OAK GROVE, ST. ANDREWS, RED BANK, SOUTH  
CONGAREE, PINE RIDGE, ARCADIA LAKES, FIVE POINTS, WOODFIELD,  
CHAPIN, SEVEN OAKS AND LAKE MURRAY OF RICHLAND.
