HIGH PRESSURE OVER LONG ISLAND WILL PROVIDE PENNSYLVANIA WITH DRY  
AND COLD WEATHER TODAY. HOWEVER, EARLY SUNSHINE WILL FADE BEHIND  
INCREASING CLOUDS AHEAD OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT LAKES.  
HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 20S OVER THE POCONO MOUNTAINS,  
TO NEAR 40 OVER THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE STATE.  
 
A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK NORTH OF PENNSYLVANIA  
TONIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY, BRINGING A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW TO  
MOST OF THE STATE, WITH A WINTRY MIX POSSIBLE OVER THE SOUTHEAST  
PEIDMONT. PARTIAL CLEARING IS EXPECTED BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON OVER  
SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA, WHILE CLOUDS AND EVEN SPOTTY LIGHT SNOW OR  
DRIZZLE LINGERS OVER THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.  
 
LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER TEENS OVER THE POCONO  
MOUNTAINS, TO THE LOW 30S ALONG THE OHIO BORDER. HIGHS CHRISTMAS  
EVE WILL BE IN THE 30S OVER MOST OF THE COMMONWEALTH, BUT REACH  
THE LOW 40S IN THE VALLEYS OF SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.
