MILDER AIR STREAMING NORTHEAST INTO PENNSYLVANIA AND THE SURFACE  
AND ALOFT WILL BRING SOME MID LEVEL CLOUDS TO NORTHERN PARTS OF  
THE STATE WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON  
HOURS ELSEWHERE.  
 
CLOUDS WILL INCREASE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A WEAK  
WARM, THEN COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE OHIO VALLEY.  
 
FLURRIES AND OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL BRING A COATING TO  
2 INCHES OF FLUFFY SNOW TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHWESTERN PA  
AND THE RIDGE TOPS OF THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS TONIGHT THROUGH  
FRIDAY.  
 
TEMPERATURES TODAY AND FRIDAY WILL REBOUND 10 TO 15 DEGREES  
HIGHER THAN TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY'S HIGHS.  
 
HOWEVER, THESE READINGS RANGING FROM THE LOW 20S ACROSS THE  
NORTHERN AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS TO THE UPPER 20S IN THE SOUTHERN  
VALLEYS WILL STILL BE SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW THE NORMAL VALUES  
WE SEE AROUND THE STATE IN LATE JANUARY.  
 
A FRESHENING BREEZE FROM THE SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST, WILL GUST INTO  
THE TEENS AND LOW 20S OVER THE NORTHWEST HALF OF THE STATE TODAY,  
WILL KEEP WIND CHILLS MAINLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO TEENS.  
 
TEMPERATURES WILL RISE TO NEAR NORMAL THIS WEEKEND AHEAD OF  
ANOTHER RELATIVELY WEAK SURFACE AND UPPER LEVEL TROUGH THAT WILL  
BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW AND FLURRIES TO MAINLY THE  
NORTHERN AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS OF PENNSYLVANIA.
