- SNOW IS EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MAINLY OVER THE SOUTHWEST  
ZONES.  
 
- WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT A SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE  
NORTH WITH SNOW AND POSSIBLY FREEZING RAIN.  
 
WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:  
 
GENERALLY NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT IS EXPECTED THROUGH MIDWEEK. A  
DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH THE NORTHERN ROCKIES WILL SPIN UP A  
WEAK LOW PRESSURE OVER WYOMING, WITH SNOW POSSIBLE ALONG THE  
INVERTED TROUGH EXTENDING INTO CENTRAL MONTANA TONIGHT INTO  
TUESDAY.  
 
CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE PUSHES SOUTH TUESDAY NIGHT WITH SOME SUB-  
ZERO TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE.  
 
A STRONGER SHORTWAVE SLIDES SOUTH ACROSS ALBERTA ON WEDNESDAY WITH  
A LOW TRACKING ACROSS MONTANA AND INTO NORTH DAKOTA WEDNESDAY  
NIGHT.  
 
INTO THE END OF THE WEEK, THE WESTERN UPPER RIDGE WILL SLIDE EAST  
OF THE ROCKIES BRINGING MUCH WARMER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION  
INTO THE WEEKEND.  
 
FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:  
 
NO NOTABLE DEVIATIONS WERE MADE TO THE BASE FORECAST. THERE  
REMAINS MODERATE CONFIDENCE ON LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION OCCURRING  
TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE WEDNESDAY SYSTEM HAS LOWER CONFIDENCE  
FOR AMOUNT AND TYPE OF PRECIPITATION, WITH A LARGE SPREAD OF  
POTENTIAL POSITION OF THE LOW TRACK.

A DECK OF MVFR CEILINGS WITH PATCHY FOG OVER THE NORTHEAST WILL  
GRADUALLY LIFT THROUGH THE MORNING. VFR CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED  
THIS AFTERNOON, WITH CLOUDS RETURNING TONIGHT AS THE NEXT SNOW
