DISCUSSION

KEY MESSAGES:

- DRY WEATHER WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES CONTINUE THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.

- SOME MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL DRIFT INTO NE MONTANA BY THURSDAY
EVENING BUT AMOUNTS LOOK A BIT LIGHTER THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

AN UPPER RIDGE CONTINUES TO BUILD INTO THE AREA WHICH HAS BROUGHT
THE RECENT WARMING TREND. TEMPS ARE EXPECTED TO PEAK TOMORROW
(WEDNESDAY).

CLOUDS WILL BEGIN TO BUILD/THICKEN OVER THE AREA AS MONSOONAL
MOISTURE INCREASES AS THE RIDGE AXIS SHIFTS TO OUR EAST. THIS
WILL ALLOW FOR SOME SHOWERS TO MOVE INTO THE SOUTHERN ZONES WHILE
MID-LEVEL CLOUDS HELP TO COOL AREAS A BIT FURTHER NORTH. THIS IS
EXPECTED MAINLY FRIDAY AND THE COOLEST DAY. HIGHS ARE EXPECTED IN
THE 70S SOUTH TO LOW 80S OVER THE NORTHERN ZONES.

CLOUDS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY MOVE TO OUR EAST OVER THE WEEKEND
WITH TEMPERATURES REBOUNDING BACK INTO THE 80S FOR MOST ON SUNDAY.

THEN MODELS ARE HINTING AT A COLD FRONT MOVING IN LATE MONDAY OR
TUESDAY. EXPECT COOLER TEMPS WITH A NORTHWEST BREEZE.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

HIGH CONFIDENCE IN THE WARM AND DRY WEATHER THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LOW
CONFIDENCE ON ANY PRECIPITATION CHANCES THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY.
