KEY MESSAGES:  
 
- SOME MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL DRIFT INTO NE MONTANA ON THURSDAY  
AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY BRINGING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS,  
POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM. BEST CHANCES OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN  
ZONES.  
 
- COLD FRONT SWEEPS IN EARLY NEXT WEEK (MONDAY NIGHT/TUESDAY),  
BRINGING NORTH WINDS AND THE CHANCE FOR SOME SHOWERS.  
 
WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:  
 
UPPER RIDGE OVER MONTANA TODAY BEING SHROUDED WITH MONSOONAL  
MOISTURE. WATER VAPOR SHOWING IT FINALLY REACHING THE CWA WITH  
SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER SOUTHERN AND SW MONTANA.  
 
CLOUDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT WITH THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS TO MOVE  
INTO THE CWA THURSDAY EVENING. THE NORTHERN ZONES HAVE A HIGH  
CHANCE (60-80%) OF STAYING DRY WHILE BETTER CHANCES ARE EXPECTED  
FRIDAY NIGHT OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ZONES.  
 
SYSTEM GRADUALLY MOVES OUT SATURDAY WITH A RETURN TO WARMER  
CONDITIONS INTO MONDAY.  
 
A COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTH INTO THE AREA MONDAY NIGHT OR TUESDAY  
THAT WILL BRING THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND NORTH WINDS.  
 
FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:  
MAIN ADJUSTMENT WAS WITH WINDS LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY  
EVENING AS NBM WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH WITH THE COLD FRONT MOVING IN.  
FUTURE ADJUSTMENTS, SUCH AS RAISING POPS MAY BE NEEDED. REST OF
