KEY MESSAGES:
- WINTRY TRAVEL IMPACTS LIKELY FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY TRAVELERS
THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

- ARCTIC AIR WILL THEN MOVE IN FOR THE WEEKEND. LOWS SATURDAY
NIGHT COULD BE BELOW ZERO FOR MOST OF THE AREA.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
FOG HAS DEVELOPED ALONG THE MILK RIVER AND EASTWARD ALONG THE
MISSOURI EARLY THIS MORNING. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS BEING
CONSIDERED FOR THIS AREA. OTHERWISE HIGH CLOUDS ARE SPREADING
ACROSS THE WESTERN ZONE, AND A LITTLE OVERRUNNING PRECIPITATION
COULD REACH INTO THE SOUTHWEST ZONES LATER THIS MORNING.

THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL BE MORE IMPACTFUL, WITH A SHORTWAVE SLIDING
FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST INTO MONTANA THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
LEE SIDE LOW DEVELOPS OVER WYOMING, THE STRENGTHENS AS IT DROPS
SOUTH TOWARD COLORADO. MODEL CONSENSUS HAS SHIFTED THE MAXIMUM
SNOWFALL NORTHWARD FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY SO HOLDING OFF ON
ANY HEADLINES FOR NOW.

AS THE SYSTEM DIVES SOUTH, A VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL SETTLE
INTO THE REGION FOR SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY WITH HIGHS GENERALLY
20 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. SATURDAY NIGHT COULD BE THE FIRST NIGHT
BELOW ZERO FOR MOST OF THE AREA THIS SEASON.

IT LOOKS LIKE THE ARCTIC GRADUALLY LIFTS OUT MONDAY AND TUESDAY
BUT CONFIDENCE IS SHAKY ON EXACT TEMPS AT THIS POINT.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING WITH THE NEXT SYSTEM MOVING IN THURSDAY
NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT IN ACCUMULATING SNOW. CONFIDENCE ON
PLACEMENT OF HEAVIEST SNOW IS LOWER WITH ADDITIONAL SHIFTING IN
POSITION EXPECTED.

CONFIDENCE IS ALSO INCREASING ON THE COLD EXPECTED FOR THE WEEKEND
WITH TEMPS ABOUT 20 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

GENERALLY WENT WITH NBM ON ALL FORECAST NUMBERS.
